How Clase Azul is Created
  • The Tequila Process

    The Importance of Our Roots

Clase Azul Tequila is 100% made from Blue Agave , produced at one of the highest points in the state of Jalisco. Its climate and land properties offer a characteristic tequila flavor. Each of our agaves is grown for 6 to 8 years.

  • The Oven

Organic agave requires approximately 72 hours of cooking in old masonry ovens. The baking gives the agave core a unique sweetness –– easily perceived by the complexity of aroma and flavors.

  • Distillation

The agave core is ground to extract all the juices and begin the fermentation process, induced by our proprietary yeast. After several days, the tequila is distilled two times, having a wide cut of "heads" and "tails" to ensure our tequila is of the highest quality.

  • The Decanter Process

Each Clase Azul Tequila decanter is handmade, and hand painted by our artisans in the small Mexican town of Santa María Canchesda. About 350 of our skilled workers sculpt and paint them individually, using the Mazahua people's ancient techniques. Each ceramic decanter is a one-of-a-kind piece of art that contains our ancestors' art and their millenary legacy.

  • We Want To Preserve Our Heritage

We work every day to preserve the land where we produce Clase Azul and protect our country's native communities. We want to foster a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Mexico and its traditions.

Embrace The Exquisite Life.
